The national company Dakar Dem Dikk SA has carried out a diagnosis of its human and material resources in order to better ensure its public transport service mission.
In its press release announcing the work that made it possible to strengthen human and material resources in anticipation and enable this holiday.
Dakar Dem Dikk intends to strengthen intercity services in the amount of 59% in the national territory to allow every citizen, to spend at home, a good Tabaski spending time.
DDD also informs that this does not in any way change the operation of the various city and intercity lines that will continue to serve places in the capital and regions such as Kédougou and Podor that have an internal network without proper maintenance service.
“This lack of maintenance service led to the return of two (02) IVECO brand buses from the Kedougou region to Dakar. In this regard, the replacement will be made after the repair of other broken buses in the same region.
The head office will also work on equipping and strengthening the local maintenance department,” the statement said.
