Jeanne Emilienne Drouhin, wife of Benaïss, died on Wednesday May 29 at Langres Hospital, where she had recently undergone surgery for a hip problem. Jeanne Emilienne was born in Voisey at her parents’ house, rue de la Maze, on July 15, 1945.
Coming from a large family of siblings: Emile, Marie, Bernadette, Gérard and Simone, she attended elementary school in the town school. to the class leading to the school certificate. Jeanne Emilienne found a job in Tourcoing in a candy factory. His eldest son was born in that city.
Four more children came to brighten up the family: Louisa, Slimen, Frédéric and Sylviane. For a while they lived in Marseille where her husband Kadour found a job on the railway. The climate in Marseille did not suit her, so they returned to Voisey where she could continue her family life and take care of her children as well as her farmer parents.
Jeanne Emilienne devoted a large part of her life to her children and ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was a great reader and among other things she loved crosswords and words with arrows.
When her health and occupation allowed, she loved to arrange her garden. As she got older, she loved watching TV series. His funeral will be celebrated on Monday, June 3, at Voisey Church.
Burial will follow at the city cemetery.
Our condolences to his family.
