Coastal departments of Nouvelle-Aquitaine affected by “maximum risk” of baïnes on Saturday

All the coastal departments of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region are affected by a “maximum risk” baïnes currents on Saturday, report on Friday, April 12 French blue La Rochelle Gascony, Gironde and Basque Country.

It was announced from the Operations Center of the Southwest Zone “the beaches of Nouvelle-Aquitaine are marked by sea currents that can be dangerous” and specifies that currents “particularly strong and could easily drag swimmers into the sea”.

This warning “maximum risk” de Baines refers to all the beaches of Pyrénées-Atlantiques, Landes, Gironde and Charente-Maritime.

Faced with the risk, the authorities call for increased caution: “For your safety, bathe between the flags in guarded places”.

If there are no areas under surveillance, avoid swimming, states the Landes prefecture.
