Here are the prices starting July 1st

Since the beginning of the second decade of June, domestic fuel oil prices have continued to rise. As the month of July begins this Monday, the uptrend is still ongoing.

For this Monday, July 1, regular fuel oil on the specialized site prixfioul.fr is 1.205 euros per liter. As for premium fuel oil, its average price is 1,224 euros per liter.

For the purchase of 1,000 liters, prices at the beginning of the week rose by 4 euros for ordinary fuel oil and 5 euros for premium fuel oil compared to Friday, June 28.

For its part, the fuelreduc site indicates an average price of 1,194 euros per liter this Monday. Here, too, the daily price has increased by several euros compared to the one recorded at the end of the week.

Finally, on fioulmarket.fr domestic fuel oil is sold for an average of 1,214 euros for a purchase of 1,000 liters.

On this sales platform, today’s price has increased by almost 8 euros compared to the one indicated on Friday.

Where to find the cheapest heating oil?

According to the site fioulreduc.fr, which reviews prices fuel oil domestic in every region, Franche-Comté offers the cheapest prices in France at the beginning of July, with an average of 1,164 euros for the purchase of 1,000 liters.

On the other hand, Upper Normandy offers the highest prices in the entire country, with 1,232 euros for 1,000 liters. By comparison, the price difference between Franche-Comté and Haute-Normandie is €68 when buying 1,000 liters this Monday.

To understand this increase in domestic fuel prices in France, we need to look at the oil market. It has been shown that since the beginning of June, oil prices have recorded an upward trend after reaching particularly low levels.

This Monday, a barrel of Brent from the North Sea was selling for $85.56. As for the barrel of West Texas Intermediate (WTI), it is at $82.36 per barrel.

Compared to the beginning of last month, the difference in the price of a barrel is more than 8 dollars, both for Brent from the North Sea and for West Texas Intermediate.
