This ceremony gathered a lot of relatives and friends who saw off his family in sorrow. His sister, Céline, was able to evoke her brother with great sensitivity and affection.
Stéphane was born on July 16, 1976 in the house of Odile and Rémy. He had a brother David and a sister Céline.
As a child, he attended a village school, continued his studies at the Prauthoy College, then in Langres and finally at the Faculty of History in Dijon.
Stéphane won the teaching competition. He joined Nièvre where he was appointed, in Corbigny.
“Maître Stéphane” was passionate about his profession, students and colleagues greatly appreciated him.
To take his mind off things, his hobby was fishing, which became a passion. He loved being in contact with nature and looking for mushrooms.
The year 2006 was dark for Stéphane with the death of his father, Rémy, on March 16, plunging the family into deep grief. It was also the year of the discovery of the disease he was suffering from, multiple sclerosis, which imposed constant suffering and renunciation on him.
In 2016, the arrival of Elly, her first nephew, was a great joy that grew with the birth of Manoa and Inès. He loved to take care of them and spoil them.
Stéphane remained faithful to his native village where he often returned to the great joy of his mother.
Stéphane created a network of friends in Nièvre. Together with her friend Amélie, they helped her cope with the disease. This life ended abruptly on June 4, in the prime of life.
Céline concluded: “Stéphane, we will all remember your courage, your determination to lead this life despite illness and suffering. You tried to protect us, mom, David and me. THANK YOU.
Many testimonies spoke of the compassion and kindness of Stéphane during the ceremony, which was attended by his colleagues, his students and their parents who will miss him greatly, as well as his extended family and his friends.
We express our condolences.
