The visit of the delegations of the commissions of the National Assembly continues in Corsica. Afterwards the Law Commission in Novemberthat of Finance in March, the office of the Social Affairs Commission is today and tomorrow in Corsica.
Its president, Charlotte Parmentier-Lecocq (Renaissance Deputy, North) and Paul Christophe (vice-president, North Deputy, Orizzonti) were this morning at the headquarters of the Regional Health Agency of Corsica (ARS), in Ajaccio.
They are currently being received by Gilles Simeoni, president of the executive of Corsica and Marie-Antoinette Maupertuis, president of the assembly of Corsica, at the headquarters of the Community.
A meeting in which the representatives of the groups of the Assembly of Corsica participate is in progress.
While the trips to the island by the offices of the Law Commission and the Finance Commission were directly related to the constitutional reform project of Corsica, the visit of the Social Affairs Commission is a departure from this news.
Indeed, during the discussions in Beauvau, health was not mentioned among the skills likely to enter the development of the organic law that defines the future status of the island. The issues discussed today and tomorrow extend to access to health in Corsica.
The delegation will go to the Miséricorde hospital at 3 pm.
“We came at the invitation of deputies Paul André Colombani and Laurent Marcangeli,” explains Charlotte Parmentier-Lecocq. As president of this commission, I travel to many territories to discuss local specificities with local actors.
Health is a subject that touches the responsibility of the State but this visit will allow us to see how the project of autonomy can influence this area. And we too, as deputies, have to decide on the Corsican project. But the idea of this visit is, above all, to discuss with the local actors the specificities of the territory and consider the creation of partnerships.
Two round tables are also planned tomorrow, the first with the associative actors, the second with the representatives of autonomous health professionals.
