What are the most beautiful hotels in Italy?


It’s a successful launch. After it was discovered first French edition Michelin has already distributed its famous “Keys” to its hotels UNITED STATESin Spain and now in Italy. Thus, in this first Italian selection, 146 hotels and accommodations out of more than 500 hotels recommended by the guide nationally celebrated.

Eight facilities are given the famous 3 keys, which emphasize “extraordinary stay”.

We find JK Place Capri, an elegant boutique hotel perched on top of a cliff. On the Amalfi Coast, Il San Pietro Di Positano has a stunning rock-cut swimming pool and a lift that provides direct access to a private beach…

Extravagant apartment on five floors

In the medieval village of Civita di Bagnoregio, a beautifully renovated boutique hotel with only 4 rooms has won 3 keys: Corte Della Maesta.

Also restored according to the rules of the art, the Castello di Reschio contains a completely extravagant suite spanning five floors!

In Modena, chef Massimo Bottura’s hotel also won 3 Clefs, the promise of a gourmet stay in a country house surrounded by luscious gardens. In Matalcino, Rosewood Castriglion Del Bosco has its own vegetable garden, cooking school and Michelin-starred restaurant, all immersed in around 5,000 hectares of vineyards.

Venice is finally home to two hotels that have received the highest Michelin recognition, Aman Venice, located in a Renaissance palace, and Cipriani, the Belmond Hotel, which has already won the title of the best hotel in the worldawarded by La Liste.

31 Italian hotels received two keys, 107 others now have a key on their facade.

The next Michelin selection to be presented will be in Japan on July 4th. Other destinations will follow later in the year.
