who killed doctor bubé in episode 2?

While TF1 is airing episode 2 of season 4 this Thursday, May 23 HPIeditor Seriously reveals the identity of Doctor Bubé’s killer and explains everything to you. Warning, spoilers!

As every Thursday since May 16, viewers can find a new episode at 9:10 p.m. new fourth season from a series of phenomena HPI on TF1. This May 23, in episode 2 titled ISO 8601, a doctor was found murdered by a fire extinguisher in his office the day Morgane Alvaro comes to the hospital for an ultrasound. This is Doctor Bubé. But then, who killed him?

Who is responsible for the death of Dr. Bubé in season 4 HPI ?

Several potential suspects appear throughout the episode, starting with several women who filed a complaint against Dr. Bubé for discrimination. Wanting to undergo medically assisted reproduction (MAP) to have a child, they suffered numerous rejections before they found Dr. Bubé. Judith Varonne initially she presented herself as a single heterosexual woman, and then she could count on the support of the implanting doctor. Unfortunately, when she and her partner Zoe arrived at the hospital, they were told none of the embryos were viable before they were removed.

The two women did not hear from Dr. Bubé for six months, exactly during that period the hospital’s security system was vandalized by two anti-species activists, Enzo and Alain. The latter entered the premises to sabotage the PMA service incubator and then destroyed several embryos. Management covered up the matter to protect the hospital’s reputation.

Through this investigation carried out by the protagonists HPIwe discover thatAlain, one of the anti-species activists, was himself delivered by Doctor Bubé. But the young man now accuses the doctor of killing his mother, who died when he was 8 months old. In the early 2000s, she had cancer, which returned two months after her birth. And, for a reason, it was a hormone-dependent cancer (because of hormones). Therefore, by giving birth to a child, and also by in vitro fertilization, she risked a lot. But it turns out that Marilyn, Dr. Bubé’s assistant, falsified the young woman’s file so she could have a child.

However, neither Alain nor Marilyn are responsible for the assassination of Dr. Bubé… Before his death, Dr. Bubé rushed to inseminate his patients for fear of losing the embryos, but his assistant was not present that day. Then he got confused about the dates, since they are not spelled the same way from one country to another, and Marilyn is from Quebec. Therefore, he mistakenly impregnated a patient with the same initials as Judith Varonne, namely Violaine Jézabel. When he discovered this, he called Dr. Bubé Benoît, Violaine’s husband, to contact him. But he refused to tell his wife for fear that it would destroy her, and he beat the doctor with a fire extinguisher until he killed him.

Season 4 Episode 2 HPI offers its share of twists and turns, but also intense scenes like the one in which Morgane and Karadec are in the hospital, with a bomb ready to explode. If it is in fact a fake blood bomb, our two heroes ignore it for the moment and then prepare for the worst. An opportunity for them to indulge in some confidences…

He asked Seriously, Mehdi Nebbou (Karadec) admits that he loved filming this scene. “We’ve all seen it in the action movies of the ’80s and ’90s, and here, experiencing it in a comical and tragic way, it brings Morgan and Karadec together. I think this is the kind of scene where the DNA of the show really exists : there is tragedy, suspense, thriller/polar, comedy and also romantic comedy. It’s like we had a concentrate of HPI in these scenes” declares the actor.

Vice versa, the actor has a much less pleasant memory from the passage where his character Karadec slips into the lake while they are in the zoo. He admitted that to us water “it was full of bird droppings” ! He says : “We don’t see it on the screen, there is a kind of layer on the surface of this lake, because we are in a zoo with certain wild birds and other birds that pass by, but the surface is filled with bird droppings. It was dirty. Luckily I had some sort of neoprene suit on underneath., but for Karadec it is even more torture. I think it was the least pleasant scene”.
